Why polymer clay earrings?

I needed a hobby to focus on that would help me de-stress from law school, and I have always loved watching satisfying clay videos on Instagram. One day, I realized that I, an adult, could decide to take up clay as a hobby too, and Lily and Sparrow was born.

Our shop name comes from Matthew 6:25-34, which talks about God's attention to detail and care for his children. For me, it is a reminder not to be anxious and to observe the ways that God is working around me. In this spirit,10% of all purchases are donated to International Justice Mission to help fight human trafficking. To learn more about IJM and their mission, check out https://www.ijm.org/

How do I care for my earrings?

A few tips to help your earrings last:

  1. Don't submerge them. While a little water will not hurt your earrings, you should take them off before swimming and showering!

  2. To clean, use some gentle soap on a damp cloth and gently rub the area that needs cleaning.

  3. Store them away from extreme temperatures.

  4. Do not bend your earrings! While polymer clay is generally flexible, we do not recommend bending your earrings as they may become damaged.

All earring posts are sanitized with rubbing alcohol before shipping!

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

Yes! All pieces are nickel free, and stud posts are made in the USA from lead-free, nickel-free, cadmium-free grade 1 titanium. Most dangles are 18K gold-plated, and most product listings will contain this information as well. Please reach out if you have any further questions about metal allergies or sensitivities.

All sales are final. For hygienic reasons, I do not accept returns, but please fill out our contact form if your earrings arrive damaged from shipping or you experience any problems with your order within 7 days of receipt. Please note that since each piece is handmade, there may be slight variations in design. Please allow for this, but if your order does not meet your expectations, please reach out so we can make it right!

Yes! Currently, L&S ships to the following locations: Australia, Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Don't see your country listed? Send me a message and I would be happy to add it for you! (Note: I do not pay VAT taxes for packages sent to the EU or anywhere else – please be aware that you may be responsible for any VAT taxes upon receipt).
